At some point, I realized that my obsession with making things work seamlessly and my love for well-designed apps could actually pay the bills.

So, here we are.

From a young age, I formed a belief that still shapes the way I see the world: life should be simple—not necessarily easier, but simpler.

That mindset, combined with my love for design, shaped my journey. My first exposure to design came during my advertising studies, leading me to ask: How can design shape our lives so profoundly, yet go unnoticed?

Along the way, I developed a love-hate relationship with web development. Learning to code let me bring ideas to life in websites and apps—and sparked my passion for UX/UI design. That's when it clicked: design isn't just about aesthetics; it's about interaction.

After nearly three years running my studio, I knew it was time for a shift. No more social media graphics, no more posters—I wanted to focus on designing websites and apps. That led me to Codev, where I worked in e-commerce development for a year.

Now, I balance freelance projects with my role at Bold Strategies (now Harvest Group), continuing to learn and grow every day.

So, what do I think about design?

I never really thought about my design philosophy before, but after so many years in this field, it's impossible not to have one.

What concerns me most is where UX design is heading. More and more, it's becoming about serving business goals rather than users. Everything is starting to look the same—apps copying each other, blending into one another. And that's prime real estate for AI.

A lot of designers are afraid of losing their jobs, and honestly, I get it. If designing a website or app just means doing the same thing everyone else is already doing, why wouldn't AI take over?

I'm not naïve. I know that Nielsen's heuristics (and many other design principles) tell us not to reinvent the wheel. And I agree. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. We just need to design as many perfectly round wheels as possible.

I've always been passionate about cinema, literature, and music. There's nothing quite like a great story—whether it's on the big screen, in the pages of a book, or woven into a song. That said, when it comes to music… I'm much better at listening than dancing.

But if there's one thing I love even more, it's spending time with my family and friends. And to be honest, I miss them a lot.

Eight years ago, I started this journey into design, not knowing exactly where it would take me. And one year ago, I took another huge step—I up Argentina and moved to Spain.

A big change, yes, but also a necessary one. A chance to grow, explore new opportunities, and, why not, design my own path forward.
