What was going on?

Amelia is a real estate agency based in Mallorca, a growing and highly competitive market. In an effort to stand out and embrace a more digital-first identity, the agency invested in a full rebrand and the development of a new web platform — combining modern design with the needs of both buyers and sellers.

How we tackled it

My role in this project included both UX/UI design and frontend development. We started with a research phase that informed both the visual rebrand and the new platform. This included user interviews, user testing, conversations with the agency’s commercial agents, benchmarking, and a deep analysis of Google Analytics data and other tracking tools provided by the client.

From there, we moved into mid-fidelity wireframes, then high-fidelity UI design, and finally development and user testing to ensure functionality and clarity across the experience.

So, how did it go?

  • +30%

    increase in website traffic

  • +20%

growth in leads captured through the site

  • +18%

increase in average time spent on the site

This was my first project in the real estate space, and the first time I designed a platform for two very distinct audiences: property buyers and sellers. It was a valuable experience in balancing those needs throughout the process. It was also the first time I was involved from early design to frontend development, which taught me a lot about time management and project flow. On top of that, working within a limited CRM system pushed me to find creative ways to apply the changes we believed were necessary.
